The College of Mass Communication organizes an international webinar on sustainable development and climate change
Today, June 26, 2022, the Faculty of Mass Communication organized under the auspices of Prof. Howaida Mostafa, Dean of the College, and the supervision of Prof. Hanan Junaid, an international webinar on the importance and role of the media in the field of sustainable development and climate change, with the attendance and participation of elite professors from major universities in the United States, Cairo and the Think Green organization specialized in Community activities to serve the environment and preserve the climate, during which they discussed the best and latest ways to increase awareness among the masses of the importance of the environment and articles of sustainable development to preserve the climate and the development of academic programs specialized in environmental communication and the importance of training youth and university students to participate in various environmental conservation activities. Experts called for the need to prepare Implementation and participation in a set of events aimed at enlightening public opinion and raising awareness of the importance of preserving the environment and the role of the media in urging citizens to participate in various environmental activities in line with the 2030 vision for sustainable development.
