“Mass Comm” obtains renewal of the “ISO” certificates for the administrative apparatus, occupational health and safety, and business continuity
Dr.. Elkhosht: The Faculty of Mass Communication has succeeded in achieving the goals of the university’s strategic plan to develop and compete strongly locally and internationally, and has met all standards with the testimony of the international review team.
Dr.. Elkhosht: The university’s faculties obtaining local and international accreditation and ISO certificates are signs of Cairo University’s distinction and advancement, and the enhancement of its administrative and academic image globally.
Dr.. Hanan Gunaid: The Faculty’s three ISO certificates are a direct result of the continuous support from the university administration, led by Dr. El-Khosht and work in a collective team spirit among all employees, which made it able to maintain a leading position and achieve accreditation requirements locally and internationally
Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University, announced that the Faculty of Mass Communication has obtained the renewal of 3 ISO certificates for management and quality systems, which are: ISO 9001 for the quality of the administrative system, ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety, and ISO 22301 for business continuity, after the completion of the international audit team to obtain certification from the comprehensive review process of the faculty’s quality management system, and to meet all required standards for quality and accreditation.
Dr. El-Khosht explained that the continuity of improving performance and working to meet the quality standards and efficiency of administrative and academic services at the faculty of Mass Communication comes to achieve the objectives of the university’s strategic plan to develop and compete strongly in the local and international market, pointing to the university’s success in applying the highest quality standards in various fields of education and research. Scientific and administrative system, and continuous development based on scientific thinking methodology, which contributes to increasing productivity, providing an appropriate work environment that encourages excellence and creativity, and providing a distinguished positive educational experience for students that provides them with international qualifications.
The President of Cairo University stressed that the obtaining of the ISO certificate by the university's various faculties, institutes and departments, and the renewal of many of them, is considered one of the university's most important achievements and a sign of its distinction, advancement, and enhancement of its image among the various prestigious global academic institutions.
For her part, Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, said that the faculty’s obtaining the renewal of 3 ISO certificates reflects the quality of its performance and its continuous development, whether at the level of the educational or administrative process, which resulted from a joint effort and teamwork between the college’s faculty and staff members, pointing out that the university administration’s continuous support, led by Dr. Elkhosht, and his constant motivation, made the faculty able to maintain a leading position and achieve all accreditation requirements to ensure the application of international quality standards and the continuation of development processes for all the faculty’s activities and operations to achieve the goals effectively and efficiently and achieve the satisfaction and expectations of all beneficiaries of the outcomes.
Dr. Hanan Gunaid thanked all the employees of the Faculty of Mass Communication and its various departments and the quality team led by Dr. Laila Abdel Mageed, praising their sincere effort and hard work, the result of which was the renewal of the ISO for the Faculty.
It is worth noting that Cairo University has succeeded in making a qualitative shift in international academic and administrative accreditation, and most of its faculties and institutes have obtained national quality accreditation or renewed accreditation, improving the quality of administrative performance, shifting towards decentralization in administration, and creating a positive administrative environment that contributes to achieving the university’s vision for developing work and performance. administrative and increase productivity in accordance with the university's strategic goals as a fourth-generation smart global university.
