Cairo Mass Comm. Reviews Arab & International Experiences In Media Digital Content Industry




Faculty of Mass Communication organized a research session entitled "Arab Experiences in the Industry of Arabic Content", as part of the activities of the twenty-eighth international conference of the Faculty of Mass Communication, which is being held under the auspices of Dr. Othman Elkhosht, President of the University, and Dr. Hanan Junaid, Dean of the faculty.


The session was chaired by Prof. Ali Ajwa, former dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication (session chairman), Prof. Saber Asran (commentator), and Dr. Amal Fawzy (session rapporteur).

The session was chaired by Prof. Ali Ajwa, former dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication (session chairman), Prof. Saber Asran (commentator), and Dr. Amal Fawzy (session rapporteur).


At the outset of the research session, the researchers gave presentations that dealt with reviewing the methodological aspects and a summary of the results of their study.

Mohamed Fayd is a director at the National Media Authority and a lecturer at the Higher Technological Institute for Media in Minya, presented a research paper entitled (Digital Media of the League of Arab States as an Interactive Means).
Dr. Sahar Mohamed, a lecturer at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Minia University and a researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Journalism Foundation, also participated in a research paper entitled "Artificial Intelligence Journalism Techniques and Improving the Stereotypical Image of Institutions and Governments During the Covid 19 Crisis and China as a Model".
The results of the previous study concluded the importance of artificial intelligence and the necessity of building a new model for financing journalism and developing an implementation plan in press institutions that is compatible with artificial intelligence according to each country.


In turn, Dr. Saber Suleiman commented on the previous research, indicating that it needs continuous work, while following the basics of research, the importance of page numbering, clarity of handwriting, and the presence of all recommendations and results.

Dr. Amal Fawzi, the rapporteur of the session, concluded by commenting on the importance of following the case study approach from the second level. Because this helps the researcher to benefit from previous studies, noting the importance of the link between the research problem, the title of the study, the scientific steps of the study, and clearly defining the variables that the researcher seeks to collect data about or measure.


The session rapporteur explained that some studies were based on 4 theoretical frameworks without specifying any way to benefit from these theoretical frameworks, referring to several observations about the negative aspects in the implementation of some of the research presented.
