The MCCU’s Dean receives representatives from AQAS of Germany to start the international accreditation of the Faculty
Professor Hanan Guneid: the application for international accreditation confirms the readiness of the faculty’s academic environment and it’s important role in society
Professor Guneid explains the future vision of the faculty to the representatives of AQAS - the Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Programs that is based in Germany.
Professor Laila Abd Al Mageed: the visit is part to the faculty’s effort to complete the requirements for the international accreditation.
AQAS representatives praise the faculty’s resources and the readiness of its educational and research environment.
Professor Hanan Guneid, the dean of the faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University, received AQAS representatives on Monday morning. The visit is a part of the faculty’s application for international accreditation, as the faculty is considered the first of its kind in Egypt to do this.
AQAS representatives listened the dean while explaining plans and quality systems applied in the faculty, who expressed her delight to realise such important step towards international accreditation.
During their visit, the AQAS team visited various faculty units including the faculty’s public opinion research center as well as faculty’ labs to see its readiness.
Professor Laila Abd El Mageed the head of quality of control unit indicated that AQAS teams had positive impression about the faculty and its educational environment.
