Dr.. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, made an inspection tour accompanied by Prof. Dr. Salwa Al-Awadly, Vice-Dean for Education and Student Affairs, to check on the progress of the examination atmosphere in the halls of the faculty and the exams building of the academic year 2022/2023.

During her inspection tour, the Dean of the faculty followed up on the extent of adherence to the precautionary measures related to the work controls of the examination committees and monitoring the accuracy of the control committees’ in compliance with the instructions and directives of Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University.

On her part, Prof. Dr. Hanan Gunaid, said that the inspection tour aimed to verify the extent of compliance with the instructions of Dr. Muhammad Othman El-Khosht, President of Cairo University, providing all means of comfort for students, and creating the appropriate atmosphere in terms of calm and order; and providing focus factors for students to perform their exams, stressing that the observers are to permanently prevent any student from entering his committee via a mobile phone, taking into account the necessary measures to prevent fraud, and adhering to the rules of the examination process; To provide the utmost levels of discipline, noting that exams continue daily according to the schedule and in compliance with the time map, taking into account all religious holidays for the Coptic brothers and national holidays.

The Dean emphasized that the exams for academic levels come within the framework of the guidance of Dr. Muhammad El-Khosht, during the last meeting of the University Council before the semester exams were held, as care was taken to complete the preparation for the start of the exams in sufficient time, taking into account the days between, and not to put pressure on students, and to adhere to the decision of the University Council on the examination system based on multiple choice, taking into account the specifications of the examination paper, and setting a problem-solving question so that it is not lengthy and at a rate ranging between 10% and 15%, and exams include questions that measure the different abilities of students.

In turn, Dr. Salwa Al-Awadli, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, said that the exams come in light of good preparation and prior preparation before them where all examination halls are equipped with all appropriate means to complete the examination process in a good way, as well as providing all the requirements for the controls that supervise the organization of these examinations. She added that the exams held witnessed the commitment and regularity of the examination process going well without any influence, and that all the instructions directed to organize the course of the examinations are proceeding as intended.
