EMCCU obtained the Excellence Shield from the Information and Decision Support Center at the end of the summer training for students.

The head of the Center praises the students' level and efficiency in implementing practical training
The Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, received the Shield of Excellence at the end of the summer practical training program for university students and young graduates at the Information and Decision-Making Support Center, Egyptian Cabinet, which took place during the period from August 7th to September 8th, and the training included students of the Arabic, English and Digital Media programs from different academic levels.
The students expressed their maximum benefit from the program, and stressed that the training was not just theoretical lectures, but rather included practical training for students in various departments, including the General Administration of Media Observatories, in which the training was based on visiting the foreign websites observatory, following up on international news, translating it and sending it to decision makers, and the administration. Also The General Media department for training on how to write press releases, summarize reports issued by the center, media documentation, and follow up on the various newspapers and newspapers’ handling of the reports issued by the center.
Another group of the students participated in the training at the Information department on adobe program to create social media publications, design infographs, which is used inside the publications to collect information, in addition to their participation in developing an initial concept for the magazine "Climate Outlook", the first issue, which will be launched next November of this year, in conjunction with the climate conference that will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh.
As for the television program observatory, the students watched the various tv episodes and analyzed them to write reports on what was discussed in the talk shows and sent to decision makers to save effort and time for decision makers, in addition to the students’ participation in editing the center’s various publications, and designing opinion poll forms. In addition to participating in workshops for several experts.
It is worth noting that Mr. Osama El-Gohary, First Assistant to the Prime Minister, and Head of the Information and Decision Support Center praised the level of students of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, in carrying out various practical exercises, stressing that it was a great experience for the center and expressing his happiness with this promising youth
