 Dr. Salwa Al-Awadly: Providing all capabilities in the faculty to complete a real democratic process in the student elections.

 The Faculty announced that 64 candidates have applied for the student union elections at the college for the current academic year 2022/2023, after withdrawing 72 forms for those wishing to apply for the student elections, which began today, Thursday, November 24, by opening the door for candidacy, provided that the preliminary lists are announced on November 27, and after that  The stage of receiving appeals begins on November 28, and examining appeals on November 29, with the final lists to be announced on November 30.

 The electoral campaign is scheduled to officially start on December 1, and the first round elections in the faculty, sorting and announcing the results will be held on December 4, provided that the run-off round - in the event of its occurrence - takes place on December 5, then the elections for committee secretaries and their assistants will be held at the college level on December 6, and  Elections for the president and vice president of the union at the college level on December 7, provided that the student elections end with the election of committee secretaries and their assistants, the president and vice president of the university union on December 8, 2022.

 Dr. Hanan added that the faculty  emphasizes on not allowing interference in any way with the will of students, insisting on transparent and fair elections, and not using political, religious or propaganda. 
 
On her part, Dr.  Salwa Al-Awadli said that the faculty has fully prepared for the elections of the college students' union, and that the student elections come within the framework of the university's keenness to enhance the role of students and participate in decision-making through the student electoral experience, explaining that the faculty is keen to facilitate all special procedures for the process  Electoral elections in order to come out in an honorable manner befitting the prestige of the faculty and the university.
