Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University,
and Dr. Muhammad Sami Abdul Sadiq, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs,
and Prof. Hanan Gunaid, Acting Dean of the Faculty of mass communication and the faculty’s Undersecretary for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the faculty organized an awareness campaign on climate change, entitled "Information and response to the climate change crisis".
Prof. Hanan Gunaid, Acting Dean of the faculty, explained that Cairo University adopts participation in sustainable development, as well as voluntary work such as afforestation and pollution reduction projects, and all university colleges offer their role in this regard، And not the College of Information alone.

The community service sector follows, and the faculty has won first place , as the faculty file in Sharm El Sheikh, which included summarizing the faculty’s efforts in the community service sector، was one of the strongest files on there.
She added that the faculty carried out a campaign of afforestation and convoys for the various villages, as there were awareness and promotional campaigns, grouping the companies concerned in this regard, and working to improve their mental image through the agency، According to Egypt's Vision 2030, there is communication and continuity in development. There is a group from Cairo University that will participate in workshops in the field of sustainable development.
