To educate university youth and introduce them to the national project “Decent Life”
On Monday, September 26, 2022, the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, will organize a symposium entitled Awareness and Definition of Development Efforts in the National Project “A Decent Life”, which is the national initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, on January 2, 2019, and on As a result, the Foundation for a decent life was established in the same year.
The "Decent Life" symposium will be held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University, Prof. Hanan Gunaid, Acting Dean of the Faculty, with the support of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq, Vice President for Community Service Affairs, and general supervision of Prof. Dr Dalia Abdallah, Head of the Public Relations and Advertising Department, and the organization of D r. Alaa Fawzy, lecturer in the department. The symposium will host Ms. Aya Omar El-Kamary, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Decent Life Foundation, and Mrs. Ghada El-Bahnasawy, Head of the Media Center of the Decent Life Foundation, to talk about the national project "A Decent Life", which aims at immediate and urgent intervention to raise the efficiency and quality of life of the Egyptian citizen in all its humanitarian, economic and social fields.
The symposium comes within the framework of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University to support and actively participate in the development of public awareness of national projects through activities, seminars and student projects. A group of fourth-year students in the Department of Public Relations and Advertising launched a campaign to raise awareness of the "Decent Life" project. This campaign was implemented on the ground through students carrying out several volunteer activities, distributing awareness leaflets, organizing a special event at Cairo University, producing video and radio reports and advertisements, and launching several pages on social networks entitled “Together for a Decent Life.” The campaign achieved its goals through Raising the university youth’s awareness of the “Decent Life” project and encouraging them to support the project and participate in the voluntary activities launched by the Decent Life Foundation in all Egyptian governorates.
